Water/Wastewater Treatment Operator

The City of Belle Plaine, Iowa (population 2,330) seeks qualified applicants for the position of Water/Wastewater Treatment Operator. Two to Three years of experience in municipal utility installation, repair, and maintenance a must. Ability to attain and maintain Iowa DNR certifications in the following areas a must: Water Treatment Operator Grade II, Distribution Operator Grade II, and Wastewater Treatment Operator Grade III. Those without IDNR certification must follow timelines set by IDNR and City of Belle Plaine.  Experience in heavy equipment operation, dump truck, vacuum trailer, sewer jetter, and snow removal preferred.
