Belle Plaine Mansfield-Tippie Municipal Airport

The airport, located at 200 Airpark Drive on the southwest corner near the edge of town is a federally-funded municipally-sponsored airport. The facility consists of a 4000 foot x 74 foot lighted runway and t-hanger complex with 6 airplane bays and as well as a 75 foot x 75 foot main hanger. Additionally there is a snow removal equipment building that houses our 2010 International Harvester dump truck with snow plow.

The main hanger is occupied by Holzwarth Aviation, an aerial agricultural applicator. The main hanger also houses an airport lobby with restrooms, a small office, a place for visitors to relax and a flight planning area. Through the city the airport currently provides emergency overnight accommodations for both airplanes and pilots. Please call City Hall with any questions.
